Our mission
At the School of Hott Handz Hair Camp, our mission is to empower at-risk youth by providing them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to pursue a career in cosmetology while fostering a spirit of philanthropy.
About Us:
LEVELS OF CORRICULUMN :
Level 1: you will embark on a journey to acquire fundamental knowledge and skills related to hair care, styling tools, and various hair products. The initial focus will be on mastering the basics of shampooing and conditioning hair, which form the foundation for maintaining healthy and clean hair.
Level 2: Upon successfully completing Level 1, you will progress to Level 2, where you will dive deeper into the world of hair extensions. This stage will introduce you to various extension techniques, such as traditional extensions, weaving extensions, quick weaves, and the art of creating creative styles through freehand techniques
Level 3: Upon successful completion of Level 2, you will advance to Level 3, where you will be introduced to the world of
hair coloring and more advanced hair installation techniques. In this stage, you will focus on semipermanent coloring methods that do not involve harsh chemicals, ensuring the health and integrity of the hair.
Tuition for the camp covers a three-week program valued at $750. The camp runs from Monday to Thursday, starting at 10 AM and concluding at 2 PM each day. Upon registration, a nonrefundable deposit of $50 is required. Additionally, each student receives a starter pack worth $250, which includes essential tools and products such as a flat iron, blow dryer, hair products, combs, edges brush, setting wraps, clips, hair pins, and a cape.
Scholarships are available for those in need through DAL Makeovers, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Any donations made towards the camp are 100% tax deductible.
